It is clear that according to how one believes that the 'interpretation' of the Bible can go in many directions as we can see from all the different perspectives we see in Christianity. So how are we, those who really want to know the truth to decide whose interpretations of Scriptures are correct? Well the only answer I have is to see how prophecies have been fulfilled. Do our past have fulfilled prophecies in them? Or are most of the Prophecies concerning the 'end time' still in our future? Well there are many events in the past 1900 years that are extremely close to what the prophecies in Daniel spell out. I have just one perspective here for you to consider but spelled out in 2 different ways but the conclusions are much the same. I am not totally on board here, but I must say that they have really roused my attention especially since I have a time or two came to the same conclusions but not with so much detail as these two people give. So I am listening to say the least and keeping this in my thoughts as a possible truth. What brought me here to study this is the Jewish Holocaust , I just can not believe that God does not address this in prophecy. This action against His people the Jews is so terrible that the description of the 'time of Jacobs trouble' or the 'terrible tribulation in those days' in my mind speak of the Holocaust and if it was in fact the same thing then we are much future in the Last days than I ever dreamed.
So it is with this in mind I give you the following things just to consider if you will.
A while back as I was reading Daniel I felt impressed that the Abomination of desolation had already happened and that it was the Dome of the Rock. The only problem of proving this is no matter how how I tried I kept getting different dates for all of these matters sometimes a variation of 10 years. Now this is so different from what all the Rapture ready crowd are preaching! So of course I doubted what I had heard until again as I was studing the tribulation and the time of Jacobs trouble, in the Bible ,I believe that the Holy Spirit dropped into my mind that the time of Jacobs trouble has for the most part already happened which was all the time period leading up to and including the Jewish Holocaust and then Israel becoming a nation as predicted in the bible! So I started looking up all the dates and I couldn't find any one in agreement over them! But what I later found out is that no matter what date is being used, it all works out either way it was being calculated, so here are 2 differing perspectives to 'the end times' to the equation and thoughts on this, that for me at least blows my mind. From my own personal calculations and studing various other dates I conclude that from the years 2012-2030 , I lean in the middle like around 2019, I believe Jesus could return, that is according to the dates and calculations given to us from the Bible itself.
"Go, Daniel. For these matters are closed and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made clean, and refined, but the wicked will go on being wicked. None of the wicked will understand, though the wise will understand. From the time that the daily sacrifice is removed and the abomination that causes desolation is set in place, there are 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits and attains to the 1,335 days. But you should go your way until the end. You will rest and then at the end of the days you will arise to receive what you have been allotted" (Daniel 12:10-13).
From the time that the daily sacrifice (Heb. tamid) is removed and the abomination (Heb. sheequts) that causes desolation is set in place, there are 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits and attains to the 1,335 days (12:11,12).
Number 1 this is found here: http://www.bibletruth.cc/
According to this prophesy, there was to be 1290 days (or "years") from the removal of the daily sacrifice/tamid until the Abomination is set up. The daily sacrifice/tamid was removed in the year 607 B.C., which was the 3rd year of the reign of Yehoiakim, king of Yehudah. And the Dome of the Rock - that Abominable structure - was set up on the site of the miqdash (the temple or "set-apart place") in 684 C.E. Those two events are separated by exactly 1290 years!!!
When you add 1290 years to the year 607 B.C., you come out to the year 684 C.E. It was exactly 1290 years after the removal of the tamid by Nebuchadnezzar in 607 BCE that the Abominable Dome of the Rock was setup in 684 CE I believe that this is the fulfillment of Daniel's prophesy in 12:11.
Now do we interpret that leftover 1335 days (years). Since the first part of the "days" prophesy was established to have been fulfilled in years, then the second "days" prophesy must be interpreted the same way. The question that begs us is, "Do the 1335 years run parallel with the 1290 years or do they begin after the 1290 years?" Well, the answer may be this. Did the resurrection of Daniel occur in the year 729 CE? (That would be 607BC + 1335 = 729CE) Well no it did not. Nothing happened in that year. Jesus the Messiah didn't return in that year and no resurrection took place.
Therefore, the 1335 days (years) must begin in 684CE, which is the endpoint of the first half of the prophesy. They represent an additional 1335 years, after which the resurrection will happen. We are told "Blessed is the one who waits and attains to the 1,335 days."
It is simple arithmetic to begin counting from the date of the Abomination that desolates (684 C.E.) and add to that 1335 years. That brings us to the year 2019. In the year 2019, the second part of the prophesy, that which is stated in verse 12, will be fulfilled. This is the time when the Messiah will return and the resurrection is to take place.
607 B.C. the removal of the tamid
+ 1290 years the “1290 days” of Daniel 12:11
= 684 C.E. the construction of the Abomination – the Dome of the Rock
+ 1335 years the “1335 days” of Daniel 12:12
= 2019 C.E. the time of the return of Messiah and the resurrection of the dead
In 637 A.D. the City of Jerusalem was captured by the Saracens, led by Omar ibn al to Khatab. Between 684-691 A.D. the mosque, the Dome of the Rock, know in Arabic as Qubbat As-Sakhrah, was constructed on this site by Caliph Abd-al-Malik ibn Marwan.
With all these citations, it is rather well established that the Dome of the Rock began it's defiling of the set-apart place in the year 684 C.E., the year of the beginning of its construction. From that point in time and forward, the site of the ancient temple of YHWH has been off limits for anyone who worships the Creator. No one except moon god worshippers are allowed to enter the site of the Dome of the Rock. Certainly the Dome of the Rock has been a great desolating force against the worship of the true GOD.

Let's explore Daniel's 1290 "days" in prophecy,
5. (KJV) Daniel 12:11: And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
(Tanach) - Daniel 12:11 And from the time the daily sacrifice was removed and the silent abomination placed, is one thousand, two hundred, and ninety.
Sacrifices were suspended three times in the Old Testament: once before Daniel (Chronicles 28:24-25), once during the Babylonian captivity in 583 BC (Chronicles 36:19 and Ezra 3:6), and once, about four hundred years later, by the Greek king Antiochus Epiphanies. Let's try the 583 date considering that the angel Gabriel may have had Daniel write about the abolition of sacrifices with which he was directly familiar.
Old Testament - day = year "language" is suggested in Genesis' account of the flood as 30 day months pointing to a 360 day prophetic year, each year being equal to .9857 solar year (360/365.24) of or our modern historical record that the event dating comes from. 1290 x .9857 = 1271.5 solar years. Subtracting 583 we arrive again at 688.5 AD. The founding year of The Dome of the Rock - THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION.
There is a 2-3 year leeway in Babylonian period historical dating, rendering "zero year" discussion unimportant. Might the Lord have allowed for the calculation to remain simple anyway?
Daniel and John's prophecies were written over 500 years apart, yet the two books unite with mathematical precision - both pinning the year 688 AD - that was hundreds of years in John's future and over a thousand years in Daniel's future!
From TFP: "When Khalifah Omar entered Jerusalem in 639AD, he was met by Sophronius, Bishop of the Jerusalem Church, who showed him around the city. Seeing the temple mount (then in rubble), Omar declared that he was going to build a memorial to Muhammad on the original site of the temple of God. Sophronius exclaimed in horror, "Verily, this is the Abomination of Desolation as spoken of by Daniel the prophet, and it now stands in the holy place". Though Sophronius was a very old man of about 80, Khalifah Omar put him in prison and to forced labor, the severities of which killed him." - Jerry Landay - "The Dome of the Rock"
Is there an explanation as to why we couldn't see the perfect mathematical relationships between these two prophets before this "time"?
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Isaac Newton, Matthew Henry and many of those before us understood that the book of Daniel, and by extension Revelation, would not be fully understood until the "time of the end".
Let's try the very next verse after Daniel's 1290 days verse, and see if we can confirm the method we used, with Daniel's 1335 "days":
6. Daniel 12:12: Blessed [is] he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
Tanach: Dan 12:12:. Fortunate is he who waits and reaches days of one thousand, three hundred, and thirty-five.
1335 x .9857 (O.T. prophetic year "language" conversion) = 1315.9 - 583 BC = 732.9 AD.
A quick Yahoo search determines that 732 was the year of The Battle of Tours, France. This battle was fought exactly 100 years after Mohammed's death. The Battle of Tours is widely considered to be the most important battle of the entire Christian era. Charles "Martel" (the hammer), against astronomical odds, defeated the Islamic army, and the spread of Islam, in its near conquest of the whole known world, as it headed up through Europe during the Islamic First Jihad. Indeed blessed was he who patiently waited and made it through the First Jihad, without converting to Islam, or denying his Lord and Savior.
The Dome of the Rock was built in the temple "Court of the Gentiles" that the Lord instructed to "measure it not" because He gave it unto the Gentiles.
Revelation 11:2: But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months.
It was 42 prophetic months, employing the language of "each day for a year", from 688 to 1967 when the Israeli's regained control of Jerusalem from the Gentiles.
Christians and Jews cannot deny that the Dome of the Rock is an "abomination" that was "set up" (beginning in 688+ or -) and "stands" "in" the "holy place". How is the Dome of the Rock standing where "it ought not"? All of Islamic history and worship is centered around Mecca, while the blasphemy of the Dome of the Rock stands on the temple mount, in Jerusalem the Holy City, that has little to no historical significance in Islam (in fact only through ancient politics), but is the center of historical significance for Christianity and Judaism. That abomination stands where it ought not, in the holy place. Indeed the holy place - the Temple Mount - God's footstool - is maintained in a state of desolation today with Muslim prohibition of prayer, and "holy objects" such as Bibles may not be brought in by visitors to the temple mount.
As has been shown, the "what" and "where" of Matthew and Mark, find the book of Daniel pins the 1290 days - when used as prophetic years in the language of prophecy - to 688 AD, the founding year of the Dome of the Rock. The 1335 days of the next verse peg the zenith of the Islamic First Jihad in 732 AD, at the Battle of Tours, which confirms the method. Daniel's 69 weeks peg the Cross to the year further confirming the method. Daniel's math is precise and cross-confirmed to the year of 688 AD by John in the book of Revelation. The "where" the abomination of desolation sits, where it "ought not", is the temple mount in the Holy City of Jerusalem. This is a place of little historical significance to Islam, but of conspicuous historical importance to Judaism and Christianity. Importantly, when, from 70 AD to 1967, or for the 2500 years prior to 1967, was Jerusalem not controlled by, or trodden by, gentiles?
Jerusalem was trodden down by the Gentiles from about 606 BC, until the Israelis retook the Holy City in 1967. But note that Jesus is talking about a Christian era gentile trodding in His future as evidenced by "shall be". 1967 marked the end of this great period of tribulation which began with the stoning of Stephen (since we are our brother John's companions in THE tribulation) and many others and slaughter of a million Jews in 70 AD, the 132 AD slaughter of another 750,000 Jews, the 152 year slaughter of Christians and Jews of the Islamic first Jihad, the Crusades, the Catholic Church persecution and murder of 4 to 20 million Christians, and the 8 million Jews, as well as many Christians, slain by the Nazis. Read Fox's Book of the Martyrs or Martyr's Mirror free online, for details.
When, in Jesus' future ("shall be") until 1967, was Jerusalem not controlled by - that is trodden by - gentiles?
Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
The Lord did indeed use the Allied forces to shorten those days of Jewish persecution eventually ending their being led away captive, last, in Nazi Germany.
Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not.
Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days
The tribulation of those days began with the stoning of Stephen or perhaps in 70 AD, or with the first Jihad at Jerusalem in 639 AD, and go on up to 1948 - the beginning of the "time of the end", and immediately after the Allies shortened the days - while 1967 marked the fulfillment of the "times of the Gentiles" in Jerusalem. So does that put us now in the tribulation of these days - of the last era - of Daniel's "time of end"?
shall the sun be darkened.
Matthew 24 verses 1-14 include some history, and in verse 15 we found mathematical and textual precision in the Lord's symbol for end-time prophecy - the Dome of the Rock - with Islam front and center, taking Jerusalem in 639 during the Islamic first Jihad, and now in the "time of the end" with the second Jihad in the image of the first jihad, that we bear witness to on the nightly news.
Verses 1-14 describe the events of 70 AD and the historical realities we are witness to, and close in verse 14 with "and then shall the end come".
Verses 15-31 describe this "end" through events leading up to the Second Coming, and close with the coming of the Son of man and the gathering of the elect.
Verses 32-37 describe how we are to know it is the time of the end and close with the coming of the Son of man.
Verses 38-41 describe what the times will be like when this event takes place, and close with the coming of the Son of man and the gathering of the elect.
Verses 42-51 describe how we should prepare ourselves for this event, and close with the Second Coming and God's wrath on those left behind in verse 41.

OUR TRIALS IN LIFE
OUR TRIALS IN LIFE
The trials in our lives present many opportunities: In the Scriptures there are some things for us to consider,Here are just a few
1.To glorify God (Daniel 3:16-18, 24-25);
2.Discipline for known sin (Hebrews 12:5-11; James 4:17; Romans 14:23; 1 John 1:9);
3.To prevent us from falling into sin (1 Peter 4:1-2);
4.To keep us from pride. Paul was kept from pride by his "thorn in the flesh" (2 Corinthians 12:7-10);4
5.To build faith (1 Peter 1:6-7);5
6.To cause growth (Romans 5:3-5);6
7.To teach obedience and discipline (Acts 9:15-16; Philippians 4:11-13);
8.To equip us to comfort others (2 Corinthians 1:3-4);
9.To prove the reality of Christ in us (2 Corinthians 4:7-11);
10.For testimony to the angels (Job 1:8; Ephesians 3:8-11; 1 Peter 1:12).
As we encounter serious trials, we need to remember is to maintain the divine viewpoint .As it is written,
"Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." 1 Cor 2:9
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
In the Bible of Nature we can see that struggles, hardships, being buffeted by the wind and the elements all enable life to thrive. A chick within the egg must struggle to break free from what binds it, and so must chip away at it until it is free, but if we intervene and make it easier for the chick ,it will always die. It is by it's struggle to break free that it finds the strength to live in this world. Consider plants , when we grow plants in a green house with all the conditions perfect, then we place these plants out in the elements they will die, or will be rather weak and limp. Why? because it it by the constant movement of the wind that allows the stem on the plant to gain it's strength. That is why when growing plants in a green house they place fans all around to cause the plants to strengthen their muscles so to speak. A tree growing up in the earth is made strong by the struggle to remain rooted in the soil as it grows, if it is protected for much of it's young life, like many trees are within cities, it will never grow into the tree it was meant to be, but will at the first strong storm of life be knocked down. That is why trees out in nature are so much more stronger than city dwelling trees that are protected from much of the winds by many buildings.
Our trials and struggles are really for our good, it is what makes us mature into the adults that our Creator has intended us to be. So at the beginnings of any storm of life that comes your way, Thank the Creator for the opportunity to strengthen your muscles, stay rooted and grounded in the love of God and stand firm on His promises , and know that this is truly for our good, let us look on these struggles of life from God's perspective. We are not here to have fun, as many seem to think, although fun is a good thing, but it is not our purpose in life. Whether you are on a spiritual path or not, you are still here to grow into what God intends you to be. Life is for the purpose of creating and shaping in us the power of God in human form, and there is more to this life than meets the eye. There is a future purpose , a grander purpose ahead of us, and let us prepare ourselves by keeping that in mind .

JUST ME
A chickadee friend of mine.
Salvation, can I tell you exactly the time and place this happened to me? No. My salvation has been a long on going process, not like most Christ Followers who can tell you the day and time. I can not. I can tell you that the process of my Salvation started at around the age of 15, and then a lot of bouncy and rough roads later it is still ongoing. I can't say that all of a sudden when I called upon Yeshua that I felt His wonderful presence, and I heard the angels sing. No light from heaven , no lightning or thunder. No I have never had that kind of blessing. It has been a long process of just a 'knowing' that just keeps growing. It has been a yo-yo experience with me ,from believing and not believing, from wanting to believe and not believing, from forcing my self to believe and not believing, and yet this knowing, and that is the only way to describe it continues to grow. When I have either drifted away, or just left The Way because of fear or disappointment, the Holy (Momma of GOD)Spirit would always be there and re -enforcing that Knowing and so I would return yet again. I would have rather had a real big Divine encounter, which would have been alot easier for me to believe but God has not determined that approach with me!Do I have a correct doctrine? Probably not. Do I go to church and affiliated with the 'right' denomination ?No. But I do study various bible studies, I read various devotionals, I visit alot of websites, and I read and study from various Translations of the Bible, all the while holding tight to the Holy Spirit learning to hear , following and obeying as I am able to hear and understand her.( I say her,the word for Holy Spirit is in the feminine, as well as Holy Wisdom,Hebrew the word Ruah (Spirit) and in Aramaic the word Shekinah (Presence) are feminine words and imply a feminine divine presence. My personal understanding is that GOD is both Father and Mother in essense, so I have chosen to follow that lead).
So what is it that I exactly Know here? I just know that The Way of Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah is really true, but everything else will just have to move along at God's speed for me to know, although I would rather have all my answers now , thank you very much, but that is not how God has chosen to work with me. So I am not one of those who think they know all they need to know about what it means to be a follower of Christ. I definitely do not have all the answers, I go day by day, some days I have lots of doubts other days I feel pretty good about it all. Yes I wish I was great with words and could preach a fine sermon, I wish I could come up with just the right words to win you over, I wish I had the Bible smarts to show you all the right doctrines and the way to believe...Nope not me.I am just a simple woman, a simple country girl, living a simple life on the road with my trucker hubby who is now an agnostic but there is hope for him yet!
I can read the signs though, and the signs of the time are showing up more and more, that our age we live in now is getting shorter and shorter and the heat is being turned on more and moe. I have known from my first encounter with Jesus that I was living in the last days, how I know, I just do, I have felt that I would still be around, although I might be quite old, when Jesus returns for HIS own. I may not be able to explain all of this in terms of the right scriptures to point too, but I have enough understanding of Scriptures to at least point you to these the basic truths. I thank God that the Holy Mother Spirit is the one to open that understanding for each us even more as we acknowledge God in our lives. It says in Scripture, 'lean not unto your own understanding (which I try not to everyday) but acknowledge God and he will direct your path". So as we do this, we can be sure to be led in the way we should go.
Do I have a big ministry with oodles of followers? Nope, just me and God. I believe we are all ministers of reconciliation, and ambassadors of the Kingdom , and I am thankful to be just that.
blessings and shalom

Yes! It is Spring Time all over!
I love Spring time! We just got home from off the road trucking. Every where we went this week was beautiful!
We started from home here in Missouri , then out to West, Kansas, to pick up a tanker load of raw milk off the huge dairy farm and we took it to Le Mars , Iowa. All over Kansas,Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota the grass was greening up, the leaves on the bushes and trees are coming out ,the spring flowers beginning to bloom and babies everywhere, baby horses , I just love them! and baby calves. I love seeing the fields full of new born horses and calves with their mothers. The best breed of cow I believe if I was to be a cow would be the beef cows. They at least get to roam the country sides and bare their young and keep them at least till they are weaned, but you can't say that if it is a big dairy operation. But if they are lucky enough to be owned by small time ranchers then they are left with their younguns at least 6 months. Now Dairy cows and calves I feel so bad for , they are stripped from their mommas almost as soon as they drop.Dairy cows unlucky enough to be own by the big dairies have a hard and cruel life, they have a very short life span compared to small dairies that let their cows graze and it is sad to say that these large dairy operations are where most of your milk and ice cream and dairy products come from. Don't let those adds on TV about the California cows fool you.Cows live for the most part on dry lots/pens and enclosed barns. Some are lucky to be able to get out of the hot sun and heavy rains and hail and snow. But many out in the S.W. are not that lucky , they may have some shade but many can not get out of the sun and get hammered by hail . There are a few and I mean a few that are free ranged which I call Happy Cows , mainly up north and east, but even they are going to the big production dairies where the cows very very seldom get to graze on green grass. Out west the babies are taken from their mommas at about 1 to 3 days and tied up with about the length of 6 ft. rope or chain and housed in an individual small plastic shed and must drink from a bucket and not a bottle, most are out in the blazing sun and heat and those plastic sheds get real hot they can't even get to frolic and play with each other like cows and calves out in the fields get to. Cows on these dairies which can house up to 12,000 ,live out on dirt and cow poo. The stench is real bad, whereas those that are free ranged you never notice the smell in fact I bet there isn't any. No if I were to be a cow I would rather be a beef cow they for the most part always are left out on big pastures and breed with live bulls and have a cow social life but not their dairy sisters. And most diffinitely not steers after they are weaned they are housed on these huge feed lots some over 80 acres full of them, where the dust and smell will get you . Out in West Tex and Kansas during the summer , the dust is so bad that you can barely see to drive and I have to cover my nose even with the window on our truck all up. Here are a few pictures to give you an idea about life as a dairy calf. Not to bum you out on this absolutely marvelous day, but to let you know that life is not good for many people and for our animal relations as well.
We need to be more humane with our animal kin, we need to treat them with respect and if we are responsible for the life of any animal , be it your pet dog that you may have tied up on a short chain way out in your back yard or in a small pen as far as it can be from the house, which I say shame on you, why on earth do you even have a dog ? just to keep it tied up away from the family , again shame on you! Driving all over like I do , you would not believe how many poor dogs are in that condition. And the pitiful conditions of these live-stocks feeders I see all over, we need to respect life, and I believe that what you reap you will sow, how you treat the least of these in God's world, you best know that it will be repaid back to ya.
So let us be responsible pet owners and livestock owners, God cares for the critter kingdom just as much as He cares for each of us.
Please let us be responsible and live kindly with each other and protectors of the weak, and those who don't have a voice in this world be they critters or people, we are all God's creation.

STRAW BALE GARDENING
It is Spring time and so we need to get out in our gardens and enjoy our selves as we plant our seeds and transplants. I have a way of gardening that I have been doing now for a couple of years which is straw bale gardening along with a couple of raised beds. Being a bit disabled , it is now a long way down to the ground for me so using raised beds and straw bales have made gardening so much easier and more enjoyable for me. You have essentially no weeding and no hoeing, no tilling and just a little bending. It is a great way to garden and I highly recommend it to everyone. If you have a small yard, and no way of tilling your garden this is the way to go. Below is a few pictures of my straw bale gardening the last 2 growing seasons and a video for more information. Happy gardening to you all.

Don't Rush"Who is among you that feareth Jehovah, that obeyeth the voice of his servant? He that walketh in darkness and hath no light, let him trust in the name of Jehovah and rely upon his God" (Isa. 50:10, RV).
What shall the believer do in times of darkness -- the darkness of perplexity and confusion, not of heart but of mind? Times of darkness come to the faithful and believing disciple who is walking obediently in the will of God; seasons when he does not know what to do, nor which way to turn. The sky is overcast with clouds. The clear light of Heaven does not shine upon his pathway. One feels as if he were groping his way in darkness.Beloved, is this you? What shall the believer do in times of darkness? Listen! "Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and rely upon his God."
The first thing to do is do nothing. This is hard for poor human nature to do. In the West there is a saying that runs thus, "When you're rattled, don't rush"; in other words, "When you don't know what to do, don't do it."When you run into a spiritual fog bank, don't tear ahead; slow down the machinery of your life. If necessary, anchor your bark or let it swing at its moorings. We are to simply trust God. While we trust, God can work. Worry prevents Him from doing anything for us. If our minds are distracted and our hearts distressed; if the darkness that overshadows us strikes terror to us; if we run hither and yon in a vain effort to find some way of escape out of a dark place of trial, where Divine providence has put us, the Lord can do nothing for us.
The peace of God must quiet our minds and rest our hearts. We must put our hand in the hand of God like a little child, and let Him lead us out into the bright sunshine of His love.He knows the way out of the woods. Let us climb up into His arms, and trust Him to take us out by the shortest and surest road. --Dr. Pardington
Remember we are never without a pilot when we know not how to steer."Hold on, my heart, in thy believing--
The steadfast only wins the crown;
He who, when stormy winds are heaving,
Parts with its anchor, shall go down;
But he who Jesus holds through all,
Shall stand, though Heaven and earth should fall.
"Hold out! There comes an end to sorrow;
Hope from the dust shall conquering rise;
The storm foretells a summer's morrow;
The Cross points on to Paradise;
The Father reigneth! cease all doubt;
Hold on, my heart, hold on, hold out."
-----------------------------------------------------------------
How many times have we just pushed on through when we should have just waited for GOD's timing, and found ourselves in deeper waters? It is hard for me, it seems I am always in a foggy situation , not hearing from GOD and wandering why I haven't heard anything. I get anxious and begin to doubt and worry, and fear comes in like a whirlwind when that happens. Many times I don't know what to do, I get so confused as to what GOD really wants. Sometimes I get so confused about who is telling me the truth. There are so many voices out there, many it seems have just that little bit ,that is not exactly right, and not all of them have your best interest at heart. So what does one do in these situations? Like the above devotions states. Stand and wait , get in the Word, and stand on the promises in your particular situation and listen for GOD to speak to you within the darkness. GOD will never let us down.

DEVOTIONS FOR DIETERS: WAITING
April 6
GUIDE TO A LIGHTER YOU,by Dan Dick
Psalm 40:1
I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
Leah was not the kind of woman to just make excuses. When she said that God would help her when she was ready to let Him, she wasn't just copping out. A day came when Leah really needed and wanted to lose weight, and she did it. Though it was hard, Leah stuck to her diet, and she gave most of the credit to God. She had lived for years wishing that she could be thin. Only after trying and failing many times was she able to succeed. Waiting on the Lord can be tiring and defeating. However, no one knows us like God does, and if we can wait, He will always do what is best for us.
Today's thought: Our best effort will always include God.
----------------------------------------------------------------
I believe there is a right time to do what we need done. For instance, before we bought our home, my husband and I wanted a home of our own, but the time never was right , after 16 years of waiting, one day we felt it was the right time and within that week we found our home and within the month we were in it. You ask how long to wait, as long as it takes. You will just know that now is the time.

DEVOTION FOR DIETERS-reprogramming
DEVOTIONS FOR DIETERS,360 a day guide to a lighter you with Dan Dick
April 5
Philippians 4:7
"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. "
Leah was still terribly overweight. She had tried dozens of diets, none of which had made an impact. She attended church regularly, and she prayed continually for God to help her with her problem. She realized that she wasn't ready deep down inside, so she often ignored the voice of her conscience and the comfort of her prayers. Leah lived from day to day asking God's forgiveness and resolving to try harder in the future. She told her friends, 'When I'm ready, I know God will be there, and I know He will help me lose all the weight I need to.'
Today's thought: Lord, make me ready to lose weight!

I know from experience how hard it is to do something that seems hard . When I smoked cigarettes, it was hard to quit, but once I gathered up all the reasons why I should quit, I then wanted to quit. I continually 'renewed my mind' over the reasons I wanted not to smoke, and each day when I felt tempted to smoke I would recite in my mind why I really didn't want to, nor did I like cigarette smoking anymore, so why would I think that I want to?It is only the old programing speaking, that needs to be booted out and replaced with new programming ! and before long I no longer wanted to nor was tempted to. The same way with weight loss. I have to find all the reasons why I need to lose weight and why healthy eating habits were in my best interest. Then I keep those thoughts in my mind all the time. Each time I am tempted to go back to my bad habits I tell my self why I really don't want that way of living anymore. I tell myself that losing weight and being healthy is truly my goal, dream, and desire. Any battle we have starts and ends in our minds and our thinking, we need to re-program our minds to conform with God perspectives and our new true desires. We must ask God to help change our desires to conform to his Will, and since we know that is what God wants to do in our lives then we can agree that we all agree! We can do this, we have to want to, lets make it our aim to be healthy so we can enjoy the life God has given to us.

DEVOTION FOR DIETERS-BEWARE OF SKINNY PEOPLE!
DEVOTION FOR DIETERS,360 A GUIDE TO A LIGHTER YOU with Dan Dick
April 4
Psalm 37:7
"Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass."
Is there anything worse than skinny people who act as if dieting were no big deal? It is so difficult to hear others criticize our efforts when they have absolutely no idea what we are going through. However, we need to understand that the comments of those who don't understand us really shouldn't affect us. The Lord loves us as we are, and He truly does understand the struggles we grapple with. He has compassion on His children, and He will deal with those who are cruel or unthinking in their dealings with us. Listen to the Lord, not to others who don't know us nearly as well.
Today's thought: Beware skinny people with fat mouths!
----------------------------------------------------------------
Shalom!
Isn't that the truth! I find that people who do not have the physical issues you have ,can be so mean and cruel sometimes. If your fat, they condemn you, like when you are out in public at a restaurant, they act as if you should never have a meal. If you are crippled up like I am , they look at you like it's your fault . People can be cruel. We should never judge anyone, we do not know any-one's circumstances and why they are the way they are. Until we have walked in someone elses shoes we should never judge. Love is the key and just like we need the love and forgiveness of God so does everyone else. Let our aim always be to love, not to judge.

A OVERCOMERS CONFESSION
My body is the temple for the Holy Spirit! Redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified, by the Blood of Jesus. My members, the parts of my body, are instruments of righteousness, yielded to God for His service and for His glory. The devil has no place in me, no power over me, and no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the Blood of Jesus. I overcome satan by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony, and love not my life unto death. My body is for the Lord and the Lord is for my body. In Jesus name, amen.
MY MORNING CONFESSION
“Although my day may be filled with darkness and confusion, I speak light. The Lord and His Word are my light and my salvation; whom then shall I fear. I have ears to hear, therefore I will hear God's instruction today. God's Word will be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. His promises are a light into my life today. God's Word will give me guidance. God's Word shows me what to do. The Holy Spirit has been sent to show me things to come. The Holy Spirit will also be a light into my life today, because I am a mature child of God. I am in covenant with God, bought by the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus covers me. I am led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit shows me what to do. Angels watch over and protect me. They will keep me from dashing my foot against a stone. No problem is bigger than the Word of God. No problem is bigger than the Holy Spirit. No problem is bigger than my angels. Therefore, no problem is bigger than me. God will arise in me. My enemies will be scattered. If God be for me, who can be against me? I am God's sheep. I know His voice. I will not follow a stranger. I am righteous. I walk in God's ways. Therefore, my path grows brighter everyday. I am walking away from the darkness, away from the confusion and into the light of God's will. Today will be a good day. It's another day the Lord has made to rejoice and be glad. God is leading me. Goodness and mercy are following me. Because God loves me when I lay down tonight God will give me sleep. This will be a good day because I cannot fail! In Jesus Name, Amen”
Lord, we lift up our eyes this day toward You. Jesus, grace, truth and compassion are brought to life in You. Thank You for Your grace in us, and that the truth of Your message will change our lives and compel us in unrelenting love to You Lord. The ministry that comes from You, Jesus, back toward us, we will release in ministry towards all in need. In Jesus Name, Amen

THE TRUTH,DOES IT REALLY MATTER?
Shalom in the LORD
Why does it matter what day or hour Yeshua was crucified, buried and resurrected? Well for all honesty,Yeshua said that the only sign He would give was not 3 days, or 2 and 1/2 days , 2 nights and 1 day, He said 3 days and 3 nights. Well He either did that and told the truth or He didn't and we serve a liar as our Savior. I choose that He told the truth. But we have freedom in the Lord I believe to worship which ever day we in faith believe we should and so there you go, one should do what they believe is pleasing to the Lord. Here is an article on this.
Shalom and Resurrection blessings.
He Arose! … But When?
Author: Dwight A. Pryor
JESUS OF NAZARETH offered up himself as a sacrifice on behalf of humanity during the Festival of Redemption, Passover. He quickly was placed into a borrowed tomb nearby because the Sabbath was approaching. On the third day, God caused him to live again by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the consistent witness of all the Apostles.
The evidence for the resurrection is compelling, both in the multiplicity of witnesses and in the transformation of the dispirited disciples left in disarray by his shocking death. A "crucified Messiah" was a theological contradiction in their worldview. That he arose seems abundantly clear. What is less certain is the timing. When did Jesus actually come forth from the grave?
Church tradition has long celebrated the resurrection at dawn on Easter morning. All four gospels indeed attest that it occurred on Sunday, the first day of the week. But was it at sunrise? Matthew's gospel provides an interpretative key that suggests otherwise.
The Greek of Matthew 28:1 preserves ancient Hebrew terminology: "Late of the Sabbath in the dawning (lighting) toward the first day of the week." This awkward Greek construction points to the common Hebrew idiom, motza'ei Shabbat or the 'going out' of the Sabbath - i.e., the transition between the end of the Sabbath and the dawning or beginning of the next day.
Remember that in the Bible a day is reckoned from sunset to sunset (It was evening and it was morning). The Sabbath is kept from evening unto evening (Lev 23:32), and thus the first day of the week actually begins just after sunset on what we call Saturday evening, using a Roman frame of reference.
What Matthew is suggesting therefore is that Jesus arose not at dawn on Sunday morning but shortly after the Sabbath ended on Saturday evening!
DOES THIS MAKE SENSE in view of other facts recorded in the gospels? John 20:1ff is the most detailed literary account of the events surrounding the resurrection. Using it as a guide, consider the following:
•John notes that it was dark when Mary Magdalene went to the tomb on the first day of the week (20:1).
•If the Sabbath ended around 6:00 p.m. why would Mary, in her great devotion (and according to Luke, her desire to properly prepare the Lord's body for burial) wait another twelve hours before going to the nearby tomb? Why not go at the first available opportunity? If she was prepared to go in the dark of the early morning hours, how much more the preceding evening?
•Mary reports the news of an empty tomb to the Apostles, who investigate (20:2-10). Following their departure she encounters the risen Messiah in the garden, who sends her to announce: "I have seen the Lord!" (20:18).
•In the next verse Jesus shows himself to the disciples who have assembled in a home. John specifies that this occurred "On the evening of that day, the first day of the week" (20:19).
•If the resurrection occurred at sunrise on Sunday morning, as we assume, then in biblical reckoning the evening later that day would not have been Sunday but the start of the second day of the week, Monday.
•For Jesus to appear to his disciples on the evening of the first day of the week, as John reports, he had to arise earlier on that same evening!
•Had he arisen at dawn and waited more than twelve hours later, after sunset, to meet with his disciples, it would have been the next day and not the "first day of the week."
•A more plausible explanation surely is that soon after his encounter with Mary Magdalene, Yeshua appeared to the Apostles also, and all this transpired during motza'ei Shabbat. John's record of events is consistent with Matthew's Hebrew idiom.
Jesus did arise from the grave at the 'dawning' of Sunday but in the Jewish frame of reference, not the Roman one. Thereafter, following their normal Sabbath synagogue participation, believers in the Messiah would continue to meet from house to house on motza'ei Shabbat (cf. Acts 20:7; 1 Cor 16:2). They assembled on the evening of the first day of the week, remembering the risen Lord.

I have tried to follow many different diets to lose weight over the years. Most of the time this did not work it’s not surprising because according to this scripture below, this strategy goes against God’s design for us.
Colossians 2:20-23 says “ If, along with the Messiah, you died to the elemental spirits of the world, then why, as if you still belonged to the world, are you letting yourselves be bothered by its rules? -
"Don't handle, nor taste, nor touch"
Such prohibitions are concerned with things meant to perish by being used [not by being avoided!], and they are based on man-made rules and teachings.
They do indeed have the outward appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed religious observances, false humility and asceticism; but they have no value at all in restraining people from indulging their old nature. ”
We all know that Diets are about rules. But GOD is about freedom, grace and love. You know that when we try in our own strength to follow a set of rules, as we do when we follow a diet, that more times than not we set ourselves up for failure. These diets might seem to us to be the way to go, but they are just more rules for us to follow which are “of this world” and are contrary to the freedom we have in the Messiah. When we begin a new path towards wholeness and health let us not do so in our own strength. We need to let go of all these diet rules, one day we are told that 'this' is healthy the next day we are told that 'it ' is not , it would seem that no one knows anything for sure. I believe God wants us to abandon these “rules” and to look to Him for wisdom and power and the ability to eat well and to live a healthy life.
The best approach to healthy eating is for us to ask our GOD to help us find the right approach for our own unique body and lifestyle, and ask Him to help us to eat in a manner that will help us lose the weight that seem to so easily cling to some of us. Ask GOD to help you find the right information on the most healthy approach to take. Ask God in your prayer time to empower you, through His Holy Spirit to make the healthy changes that we need to make. Then give God the praise and the glory when you lose the weight!
Weight loss success is not about what goes into your mouth.
It's about what's goes on between your ears!
In other words, it's not what you're eating. It's what's eating you!In short, we fail because we're operating on bad information. All our lives, we've been told that weight loss success can only be achieved by (a) eating less food, (b) getting more exercise, or (c) some combination of the two.
But now we know that nothing could be further from the truth.
These Scriptures make the real problem clear:
...Do not deceive yourselves...the wisdom of this world is
foolishness in God's sight. (1 Corinthians 3:18)
...we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world. (Galatians 3:4)
…keep oneself from being polluted by the world. (James 1:27)
But God's has little regard for worldly "wisdom." He gives us the real key to lasting success in Romans 12:2:
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
And again He tells us…
You were taught...to put off your old self....to be made new
in the attitude of your minds... (Ephesians 4:22-23)
The message is clear. If we want to succeed, it's not our diets we need to change. It's our minds!
If you have a history of struggling and failing at weight loss like me, I believe that the main culpret is that we have some self-sabotaging beliefs and/or attitudes that will be at the root of our problem. And this is where we need to focus our attention. We need to forget about our "will power" and realize that we have a higher power that we can access.Renewing our mind is the key concept of success in all areas of a Christian's life. We have many bad habits that many of us have had a long time. The key to a successful walk with GOD is that we must renew our minds with the truth of what GOD has to say about all areas of our life and our challenge in weight loss is no different. One reason many of us fail in losing weight is because we try to pile new behaviors on top of our old mindsets.Yeshua says we can not put new wine(Thoughts) into old wine skins if we do it will bust, same thought applies here. It is that way with our thoughts we must make every effort to change our way of thinking. Sooner or later, our old mindset will convince us to quit and then we wind up in the same place as before and many times we are in a worse condition and weigh more than when we first began dieting, HELLO! does that ring true to you? It sure does for me. Meditating on the truth in scriptures consistently is one of many ways we can renew our mind to God's higher purpose for our life, which will help you make wiser decisions in all areas of your life, including your health and weight loss.
Here are some of the scriptures to renew our mind :
(CJB)Psalm 107:9: " For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good."
(CJB)Isaiah 40:31: " but those who hope in ADONAI will renew their strength, they will soar aloft as with eagles' wings; when they are running they won't grow weary, when they are walking they won't get tired. ."
(CJB)Romans 14:17:"for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, shalom and joy in the Ruach HaKodesh ."
(CJB)2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is united with the Messiah, he is a new creation - the old has passed; look, what has come is fresh and new! ."
(HNV)Philippians 1:6: "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Yeshua the Messiah. "
(CJB)Hebrews 12:11: "Now, all discipline, while it is happening, does indeed seem painful, not enjoyable; but for those who have been trained by it, it later produces its peaceful fruit, which is righteousness. ."
(HNV)3 John 1:2: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."
Even before you start your own pathway to weight loss , it will help you out more if you would meditate on the above scriptures . In your meditation and prayer time, ask God to show you how to apply HIS wisdom to your daily life. I remember these scriptures better if I write them down where I will see them most often. Keep them in sight so that they stay in mind.
When you renew your mind and practice healthy habits consistently, you will experience more *shalom and balance in your life, and reach the weight that is right and most healthy for you.
Above all remember: "Or don't you know that your body is a temple for the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) who lives inside you, whom you received from God? The fact is, you don't belong to yourselves; (1 Corinthians 6:19 CJB.)
GOD Wants You AND I To Be Healthy And Happy!
...for I am the LORD (ADONAI )your healer, who heals you. (Exodus 15:26)
God wants you to have his blessings in your life.
" Yeshua said, "Because of this I tell you, don't worry about your life -- what you will eat or drink; or about your body -- what you will wear.......... Have no fear, little flock, for your Father has resolved(has great pleasure) to give you the Kingdom! (Luke 12:22-23,32)
Shalom is a Hebrew word meaning peace, completeness, and welfare, being in a state of wholeness or with no deficiency and can be used to mean both hello and goodbye.
May GOD keep you and bless you mightly
blessings and shalom

DEVOTION FOR DIETERS-PATIENCE!
DEVOTIONS FOR DIETERS,360 A DAY GUIDE TO A LIGHTER YOU
April 2
Hebrews 10:36
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
It seemed like forever before any weight came off. Gerri had cut way back on her food intake and exercised daily. It had been frustrating to step up on the scales day after day to find no real change. She stuck with the diet despite her despair, and now four weeks into the program it was paying off. People were beginning to no-tice the difference in her. What had seemed so painfully slow, one pound every few days, had finally added up, and she was thrilled. Waiting a little while had paid off, waiting a little more didn't seem nearly as hard.
Today's thought: I can take this diet one day at a time!
***************************************************
This thing called time, it is amazing to me how when my daughters were growing up , being with them I never noticed that they were growing up, it just happens and one day you look at them and wonder when did this happen! When I was pregnant with them I never noticed my belly getting bigger but one day you look in the mirror and you look like a whale, and you wonder when did this happen? When I see my daughters friends after many years has gone by and they are young adults , what a change! Time just continues to keep on moving on. Loosing weight is like that, we don't notice the changes because they are so small but then you see someone who you haven't seen in ages and they say "wow don't you look great!, what have you done?"
It feels pretty good doesn't it? I know ! About 4 or more years ago my husband and I went on a diet, he lost 120lbs. and I lost 92lbs. it was both a hard and yet wonderful experience to give our 'big' clothes away and buy smaller ones, it was wonderful to have friends you haven't seen acknowledge your hard work! But alas, we got lazy and the pounds piled right back on. Now again we are in that process to lose this unwanted weight, mainly for health purposes, I need a new hip and Doctors won't operate until I lose, so I have a major reason to succeed , I want to walk again, I want my life back again!! With GOD's help and with patience we will do it again, because I know that it can be done, because I have done it and I will again!
Shalom and blessings to ya

DEVOTION FOR DIETERS-NO MAGIC WAND!
DEVOTIONS FOR DIETERS, 365 A DAY GUIDE TO A LIGHTER YOU
James 1:4
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if there were a magic wand that we could wave, and suddenly the pounds would melt from our flesh and we would be the perfect weight? I know of no one who would choose the rigors and demands of a diet over a magic wand. Unfortunately, there are no magic wands, and the only way we can lose weight is to set ourselves to the task-body, mind, and spirit. We need to ask God's help, that we might remain committed to the task no matter how long it takes. When we call on the Lord, He will grant us the patience we so badly need.
Today's thought: The longer the wait, the less the weight!
***************************************************
I have always wished I could be like Samantha on Bewitched TV show of years gone by, I wished that I could just wiggle my nose and walla I could have or do anything I imagined. But you know GOD has given us something more valuable , our minds, HE has given us the ability to be Co- creators with HIM, and that is accomplished by our thoughts and intentions especially as we aligned them to HIS will, and we know it is HIS will that we be healthy and whole, spirit,soul/mind and body. Thank GOD for that.
DEVOTION FOR DIETERS-LET US REJOICE!
March 31
Isaiah 55:12
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with shalom: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Our God is a God with a plan for His creation. Everything was created for a reason. God created us in His image, and His plan for us is to live a full, joyful, creative existence. We can best do this by keeping ourselves fit and trim and healthy. God rejoices, as does all His creation, when we live up to the potential He created in each one of us. When we succeed in our dieting attempts, we take a step toward fulfilling our purpose in life, and we go forth in joy and peace which passes any earthly joy or peace. Praise the Lord.
Today's thought: Thank you, Lord, for bringing me this far!
************************************************
We all face obstacles in this life, that is the way things are. And we all don't face the same obstacles, mine happens to be my weight, for another it may be drinking ,another, their temper and so forth. Rich or poor, male or female we all have obstacle courses in this life that is tailored just for what we each need to develop into our God given highest potential. Neither ,GOD ,nor is the 'Universe' out to get us! I believe we are here to develop into GOD's highest possiblities for us, let us each work with GOD to overcome and succeed and let us rejoice in HIS shalom today as we we go in the power of HIS might.
DEVOTION FOR DIETERS-WATCH OUT!
March 30
1 Peter 3:13
And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
Watch out! There are a lot of people who would take advantage of us, just because we are vulnerable. When we decide to lose weight, we find ourselves weak and looking for easy answers. Unscrupu-lous doctors, slick marketing gimmicks, and shyster con artists make promises and products purely for profit. They feed on poor people who want nothing more than the easiest way to take off pounds. Thank goodness we have a source of strength to resist such come-ons. God will protect us from running off after gimmicks and tricks. He is the true answer and the only way to succeed in everything we do.
Today's thought: No human plan or gimmick comes close to God's plan!

I don't know about you but it is easy to fall for one of those TV ads on the latest get thin quick pill they offer it seems a thousand times a day of TV,always implying they have our health and needs in minds...........RIGHT.
Ask God for the best healthy nutritious plan for you and what your body needs,
"Lord, set me on the right path for a healthier and thinner body, for my highest good, so your name will be glorified!"
DEVOTIONS FOR DIETERS: IT'S ALL IN MY HEAD!
DEVOTION FOR DIETERS,365 DAY GUIDE FOR A LIGHTER YOU.
Hebrews 13:6
So that we may boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.'
In a prison camp, the people were starved for long periods of time. One man seemed unaffected by the treatment he received. While others complained about how hungry they were, this one man stood by silently. Finally, he was asked why he seemed to be doing so well while the others all suffered so. He replied, 'I will not let my captors get the better of me. No matter what they do, they will not wear me down. I am the Lord's, and no one else has any power over my life. Men may take away my food, but only God can truly sustain me.'
Today's thought: The need for bread is all in the head!
******************************************
This is so true, at least for me! Very seldom do I really feel hungry, I usually just want to taste the chocolate, or because I am nervous, or board, seeking comfort, but very seldom because I am hungry. It is all truly in my thinking, in my head and if that is all that is keeping me fat, then
BE GONE THAT THOUGHT, I CHOOSE THIS MOMENT , THIS TIME, NOT TO ENDULGE IN MY CRAVINGS.
I HAVE A PURPOSE TO FULFILL IN ME WHICH IS
THAT I WILL NO LONGER OBEY MY LUSTFUL CRAVINGS.

WHY SUFFERING?
I have finally been given the gift to see my life from GOD's perspective, and now I know that I have been given the opportunity to be able to read and study from the greatest of thinkers to the most humblest of thinkers, through the gift of the Internet I have been given plenty of time to study the Bible and to learn more about GOD. I suffer from chronic pain from Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia, each day I am more disabled because of pain and deterioration of my left hip socket from the last stage of O.Arthritis, being greatly overweight from lack of exercise because of extreme pain upon movement of my joints. The Doctors won't perform an operation to give me a new hip unless I lose the weight. A vicious circle I am in. The all over body , muscle and joint pain of both the arthritis and Fibromyalgia and extreme pain of Sciatica,my spine is ate up with Arthritis, now carpal tunnel of both wrist, the list seems to go on and on, but thank God ,I finally was given the right pain medication to at least ease the pain so that I can at least tolerate living life. BUT ,there is a silver lining in this situation and within this challenge I have been given the opportunity and time to learn and travel via the Internet, what a gift. If I were healthy and able to walk without pain and the use of crutches and a walker I would most likely be busy doing other things than learning about God and Jesus. For too much of my time I had let depression sink me to very low depths of self piety and self loathing because I felt that much of my problems was because of something I did or did not do in my life, like eating properly there fore I wouldn't be fat, by exercising and so forth, but even if some or most of what I am experiencing now is because of me, I thank GOD that even so , I can rejoice because All things are being worked out for my good , even those things I brought about on myself, why? Because I truly love GOD and I truly want to believe in GOD and because I know my only hope is in GOD. I have been depressed over my condition for quite awhile, but I see that even so I am truly blessed of GOD because now I have more than enough time to devote to GOD and to study ,prayer and to learn, and it is truly a gift I would not be able to enjoy if I were healthy and going about MY business. I can look upon my life situation as a terrible time, of pain and disability, or I can look upon my life situation as truly a GIFT FROM GOD, I have chosen the first part for too much time and what a waste of time that has been, so I have chosen to view my life situation now as truly a blessing of GOD, because now I have the time to pursue GOD unhindered by all the activities I would otherwise be doing with an abled body.
I for too long have looked upon my life from the world's standards and viewpoint. The world and it's enjoyment seems to be only for the abled bodied. At least if you watch alot of TV. But life, when viewed from GOD's perspective, being abled body or disabled is not the point. If this life is all there is, then yes it really is for the enjoyment of the abled bodied, but this is not all there is , life is only the journey and not the destination. The reason for the gift of life is so that we can be transformed into Christ within us, into GOD's image, and that only happens through the trials and tribulations we suffer and through the blessings we are given, as we learn through the process of living life, if we have the Spirit of GOD within us, we will ultimately be able to see GOD face to face.
If we view life from GOD's perspective then all of life opens up and reveals much of what is hidden from view from the Worlds perspective.Yes life has a lot of suffering, but if we keep our perspective and view life through GOD's lens we would see that what we experience now is a small fraction of our life in Christ in the ages to come. It can not even come close to the blessings of what our lives will be in the Ages to come. I choose to see this life as only the preparation needed to enjoy what GOD has in store for us, doing so puts my life in the real perspective and therefor I can glory in my sufferings, knowing that GOD is truly working it all out for my ultimate good, and that is truly a blessing .
Changing my perspective has not eased the pain I am in, but it does explain at least to me the reasons for the pain I am experiencing in my life. I do not believe in accidents, I believe all things are in GOD's hands and what is allowed in my life now is working for me a greater blessing that I can ever imagine. At least

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - The Missouri Broadcasters Association is seeking legal guidance on whether stations must run campaign ads by a white separatist candidate for Senate.
The group asked state Attorney General Chris Koster on Wednesday for an opinion on whether 69-year-old Glenn Miller is a legitimate candidate.
The Aurora man man is a write-in candidate for U.S. Senate. He's been buying radio spots to air anti-Semitic views goading white people to "take our country back."
Meanwhile, the company that owns two Kansas City radio stations that have carried Miller's ads says it's donating the revenue to the NAACP and a local Jewish charity. The Entercom stations are KMBZ-AM and WDAF-FM.
The Federal Communications Commission requires broadcasters to give qualified federal candidates access to airtime. Federal law says the stations can't censor or edit the ads.
